TELUS Sky, Calgary

We built a contemporary art collection for TELUS Sky, a 60-storey landmark tower in downtown Calgary, Alberta. Guided by curatorial themes that speak to the idea of ‘sky’ — such as light, colour, and time — the art program provides a framework for showcasing the kinds of visual dialogues that can be created between artists who are working in entirely different styles, in different media, and at different stages of their careers. Spanning ten floors of the Sky tower, the collection features over one hundred artworks by contemporary Canadian and Indigenous artists from across the country. We worked closely with the architects through the design and construction phases to advise on lighting, finishes, and structural and electrical requirements for optimal art display.
